The rhythms of Oasis

Connect. Serve. Grow. Go.

Four movements that shape how we follow Jesus together.

Connect

We seek to foster an environment where people can be real, vulnerable, and open. At Oasis we hope you will find genuine relationships and community.

Find a life group

Serve

Our desire is to help others to know God and grow in understanding of who He is. From there, we make available various opportunities to mature spiritually.

Ask how to serve

Grow

Finding ways to serve God and others is part of the believer’s journey. We grow as we learn to put others first and we mature as we learn to follow Him.

Keep growing this week

Go

Throughout his Word, God has given us a treasury of instructions on the global mission of the church—what it is and how to approach the mission in faithfulness and joyful confidence.

Our commission

Reach and Teach.

These words hang in our lobby. They are the assignment Jesus left his church, and they shape everything Oasis does.

Reach

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19

Teach

“Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:20

What we believe

Core beliefs

God

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1–3; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Humanity and the Gospel

Human beings are created in God’s image, yet sin has broken fellowship with God. Jesus is the Messiah who was crucified for our sins and raised from the dead. Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; 1 Corinthians 15:1–8

Salvation

All who believe the Gospel are born again by the Holy Spirit. Eternal life is a gift of grace, not the result of human effort. John 3:16; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8–9

The Word of God

The Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and the final authority for followers of Jesus. Psalm 119:9, 11; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12

The Christian life and the church

Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, believers grow and use their gifts to build up the Church and make Christ known. Romans 12:4–8; Galatians 5:22–23; Ephesians 2:19–22

Things to come

We believe Jesus Christ will return and that heaven is the eternal dwelling place of those who believe the Gospel. Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 21–22
