Connect

Community is the context for discipleship. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation; we were made for relationship with God and for relationship with each other. We belong not merely to a local church, but to a people. A maturing disciple of Jesus Christ is one who is first connected to God by having placed his or her faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection for salvation. The second avenue of connection that is so vital in the life of every Christian is with one another. Real connection, however, only happens in an environment where people can be real, vulnerable, and open. We have found that intentional connection through Life Groups is a great way to get involved on a deeper level.
